From Hamburg to Hamminkeln on the Lower Rhine – the history of Dr.Clauder's is shaped by the merger of two successful companies: Dr.Clauder and IPH Group. Follow the journey from past to present.

  • 1957 Dr. Heinz Clauder founds the Dr.Clauder company in Hamburg.
  • 1984 Alwin Hübers lays the foundation for IPH Group in Hamminkeln.
  • 1998 IPH Group and Dr.Clauder merge.
  • 2006 Malte Hübers and Alexander Gerards take over as managing partners.
  • 2007 The Dr.Clauder's brand celebrates its 50th anniversary, and production moves to Hamminkeln.
  • 2010 The company now operates under the name Dr.Clauder, and all products are brought together under the Dr.Clauder's umbrella brand.
  • 2011 First certification under the International Featured Standard (IFS).
  • 2014 Introduction of a selective retailer structure that strengthens the brand and its specialist retail partners.
  • 2015 A training academy is established.
  • 2018 The new brand philosophy is introduced: “Animal nutrition with responsibility”.
  • 2020 2nd place in Focus Money's “Deutschlands Beste” ranking for pet food – and a new private label profile.
  • 2021 New corporate foundation with VISION 2030, IFS Broker and IFS Logistics certification, and the “Product of the Year 2021” award from Futtertester for Dr.Clauder's Best Filet.
  • 2022 Omnichannel concept for specialist retail.
